braid or 3-D preform. DiscoTex® reinforced composites retain high

fibers.

DiscoTape™

DiscoTape™ is an aligned, discontinuous unidirectional reinforcement tape
which can be made from carbon, glass, ceramic or quartz structural fibers with
thermoset or thermoplastic matrices.

Why DiscoTape™?

~ INCREASE EFFICIENCY:  The discontinuous nature of the tape allows it to
stretch in its reinforcement direction, permitting the forming of complex shaped
layups.
~ANY FABRIC TYPE AND MATRIX SYSTEM:  Thermoset or thermoplastic.
~APPLICATION SPECIFIC PATTERNS IN DEVELOPMENT: Straight cut and
Herringbone already available. Segment lengths also can be varied.

Hybrid Sandwich Panel
